Zermatt

A must see when visiting Switzerland is Zermatt and the Matterhorn (or in our case at least viewing the Matterhorn). As Zermatt is a car free town, we had to train in from Tasch which cost 8
francs each one way, which is a little expensive as the journey is literally 10 minutes. Zermatt is a really pretty town with so much to do. Unfortunately we were only here for a few hours and we weren't appropriately dressed to go walking, so we took in the town as much as we could. We saw people coming back from a day snowboarding as you can still ski in summer on the Matterhorn.

When I win lotto I definitely want to come back here both in the summer and winter and stay in one of the hotels as they look absolutely breath taking with their views of the Matterhorn and surrounding area.

One of the electric vehicles - a little truck!

One of the little buses - you couldn't hear these vehicles until they were upon you

  1. I am afraid with my hearing the buses would run over me before I knew what had happened
