We had researched about a walk you could do around one of the UNESCO world heritage sites overlooking Lake Geneva. We drove to Lutry where we left the van and started on our walk. We had already seen what Lutry had to offer the day before and we were already blown away by Lake Geneva. It is quite a steep walk through the vineyards and there are lovely stop off points to admire the view and have some lunch. We were going for quality not quantity when we started this walk, and by this I mean you could walk for hours and see the whole track but we decided that it didn't matter how far we got, we were just enjoying the walk and view.
I have to say this is the best walk I have done as Lake Geneva is so beautiful and you couldn't see where the lake ended due to the haze over the water, which made it look like it went on forever.
We finished up our walk in Cully and had a lovely glass of Pinot Noir to celebrate a great day. Walking back to Lutry we stopped off at a nice quiet spot at the lake and had a swim to cool off. We thoroughly enjoyed this day and if you are wanting something more challenging you can extend the walk or bike around it.
Check out the photos and our video of the day.
This guy was chasing the little lizards/geckos that were in abundance
