Today was the first day in over a month that we had rain during the day, but it didn't dampen our spirits in seeing what the beautiful Bern had to offer. The most frustrating thing we find in cities is finding a park and Bern was the most frustrating place we have come across. After wasting a lot of time and petrol finding one, we started off our sightseeing mission by visiting the bears down by the river.
I was very surprised to see bears in the town and even more interestingly, bears have been kept in Bern since 1513. Before 1857, they were kept in the city itself, then moved into a bear pit and in 2009 they opened the bear park which gives them a lot more space.
Moving on we spent our time looking around the city, noticing that they had a similar astronomical clock as Prague and also noticing that they had some of the scariest homeless people I had ever seen. That might sound really mean, but in all honesty I think these people should be getting help, not only for the public but for themselves as people would pick on them, was quite sad.
Bern was a nice city and they were just setting up for a busking festival which looked really good.

This was really interesting - a piano that makes a cocktail. We weren't quite sure how it worked as he was just setting up but looked very cool
