Portrush - White rocks beach

We stayed the night in a nice campsite around Fermanagh. As we headed to Portstewart, we got stopped by the police for a vehicle search. They have tighten security around this area due to the G8 conference being held around there in June. It can be quite intimidating when you have around 10 - 15 police officers with massive guns standing there watching you. But lucky for us we have nothing to hide and the police officer was very friendly.

Heading on from Portstewart we stopped off at Portrush to have a wander down the beach. Paul even got his feet out and felt the sand between his toes! We ended our lovely walk when the wind kicked up and started blowing sand into our eyes! This is a lovely beach and would love to return when the weather is better and you could relax on the beach.

Wohoo got the feet out!

Lovely snaps on the beach - not a soul in sight

Except for these two - I don't think the horse liked water too much as it did its best to avoid it
