We went to the go the farmer's market in Dalkey only to find it wasn't on! A pity really as we were looking forward to having a look around. But the next town was calling so we headed on down to Kilkenny. As it is currently the school holidays there are so many kids around and it seemed like the town of Kilkenny was full of them! We didn't do a lot around Kilkenny just had a wander around the town and visited the castle gardens.

We really do love our castles in the uk and the rest of Europe for that matter. I do have to admit that they are eye catching, even some of the ruins are quite nice and some of the histories are quite intriguing.
