Up slightly from Kilt Rock is Lealt gorge and falls where we got out and had a nosey around. In this area they used to extract diatomite from Loch Cuithir and in the last two pictures you can see ruins from this time. Diatomite is used for many purposes, for example in toothpaste, polishes, nonabrasive cleansers and more. Check out our snaps below.
