Dalkey

This is apparently where Van Morrison and Bono have houses… and we can see why. Driving up to the top of the hills there were lovely views of the ocean. We found a perfect spot to stop and look out over the beach with the sun pouring in the back. Hopping into bed with the sun on us was the perfect formula for a nap!

Waking up from the power nap, but not feeling so powerful we went for a walk further down the hill where Paul took the opportunity to take some nice snaps. We stayed the night in Dalkey as we wanted to head to the farmer’s market in the morning and see if we could spot Bono…

Spent a little while watching these guys running back and forth picking up their food from what the ocean brought in - does anyone know what type of bird they are? You might have to click the picture to make it bigger.
