Valencia

Another hot day and another stop. This time it was Spain’s third largest city, Valencia. After finding a park, which actually wasn’t as bad as we thought, we went on a mission to find las Fallas museum. This museum displays artwork from the parade through a number of centuries and you can see how they have developed their technique over those centuries. It was cool to see some of them, as we definitely missed the boat with the festival. In a picture below, it shows you how they make a face, which is cool.

Following on from the museum, we headed over to the funky buildings on the other side of the road. One of the buildings, pictured below, houses a garden that you could walk through. The buildings give off a sci fi feel and had nice pools around them that we definitely wanted to be in!

As for the city itself, it was pleasant to walk around and had a lot of nice architecture to admire.

That night we drove to Amposta, where there was a camper spot and enjoyed a nice healthy portion of paella at a lovely restaurant by a lake.

This is the building or structure with the gardens

This kind of looks like helmet...

Another view of the buildings

These were the pools that we so badly wanted to be in

I am trying to blend in...

An awesome display

The process in making a face

Oo he has his swimming trunks on

Some of the advertisements throughout the years

Snaps of the city

The building is a bull fighting arena, definitely do not want to see one of those!
