Back to Paris we went as there was the Louvre to visit and to see if we liked it a bit better than last time. We trained in to Paris from our campsite around mid morning and headed straight for the Louvre as I had heard that the lines can get pretty long. Thankfully for us it wasn't too bad, I suppose we are still just outside of the high season. Obviously, alongside everyone else, we were anxious to catch a glimpse of the Mona Lisa! I downloaded the audio guide on my phone which was €1.99 and helpful in getting us around the place and obviously provided information on the pieces of art.
The Louvre cost €11.00 each, which is pretty good considering the amount of art in the building. After spending a good couple of hours there, we then sat around the fountains opposite the Louvre and ate our packed lunch. Finally we were prepared!
Moving on, we walked down the Avenue des Champs Elysees, soaking in things we had seen on our last visit and other things we had not. It is actually quite nice going back to a city like Paris as there is so much to see and we also had our bearings making it easier to get around. Walking to the end to the Arc de Triomphe, (we spotted a bit of filming for what looked like a music video), we carried on exploring the streets of Paris.
And of course we had to visit the Eiffel Tower again, no trip is complete without it!. And did we like it better than last time? Definitely. It didn't give off that dodgy feeling like it did the other time, its always nice to give a city another chance.

Another Eiffel tower pic - in the background you can see a guy in a blue shirt trying to trick the guy he is talking to into buying a bracelet. Basically they grabbed the guy until he stopped resisting then put this bracelet thing on him and tried to bully him into buying it. I felt really sorry for the guy as he was alone.

Great photos glad to hear you are still having a good time. Weather looks good freezing here
