Tintagel

Last night we stayed over night at Tintagel in a wild camping location and woke up to a cracker of a day. The attraction for today was Tintagel castle. However when we got there we learnt it wasn't open and would re-open tomorrow, oh well you cant win them all!! You could walk around the coastline and see the ruins of the courtyard from the cliffs. It was such a nice view from the cliffs and would have been awesome to live in a castle back in the day or even now.

View from the coastline

  1. The pasty looks yummy. i just love those old castles. I didn't always appreciate the beauty of a lot of the Uk when I lived there, but you two seem to have pick out some lovely spots. I hope the old weather improves soon and you can appreciate the places even more.
